Poster and installation about my personal habits. It shows data that I collected related with my left and right hands (because I am left handed, but just for writing) and my particular way of do the things and organize everything around me. My personal data it is also combined with left-right facts around the world.
I translated the poster in an installation which is a Swiss Army knife. It shows the tools that I would use with my left and my right hand.
Workshop with Daniera ter Haar & Christoph Brach (Raw Color) personal data. ~28hours
As a person we repeat every day the same actions. Some of these are done very concious others are done unconciously. Think aboutit. For example. How many times are you breathing in one minute?
How many sweaters do you own? How many hours do you spendon Facebook? What are the places you have lived? What are theairports you have visited….
We would like you to gather data about yourself. This can be very general information or things that even seem trivial. Think about an interesting mix of data, that also tells something about you as a person. What makes your data different than the data of somebody else? Will there be differences in nationalities, habits, gender…
1 – generate a poster that should present your collected and structured information in an appealing and communicative way.
2 – create an 3D-installation that focuses on one of the data sets, to visualize one aspect of your research.
Keep it simple. The workshop will be about doing!
